- Country Living Magazine 2005 Editor's Choice - During the Village of Pugwash's judging evaluation for Communities in Bloom 2007, the judge for Nova Scotia noted favourably in the scoring forms, the amazing performance of the BORDEAUX in hanging baskets after a severe summer storm during his visit. The village won in it's population category receiving five out of five blooms in the program, along with the qualifications and recommendations to compete at the National level.
